As I suggested in class, to access a hard copies of a year's worth of issues of men's magazine, you should go to your public library and see which magazines they subscribe to.
You may also access GQ and Esquire via LaGuardia Community College library website. Here are the directions on how to do so (*If you having problems with this, go to the college library and conduct your search there, so that you can ask the librarian for help if you encounter any problems):
To access GQ magazine and Esquire magazine via LAGCC library.
-Go to http://www.laguardia.edu/home/
-Click on libraries, top left
-Click on library media resources center
-in the middle of the page, on the menu under Research & Find, click on Find articles & books online (subscription databases)
-this will bring you to Find Articles and Books Online via Subscription Databases, and beneath this heading, towards the right, click on Find a Specific Journal, Magazine, or Newspaper
-this will bring you to a page-Find a Specific Journal or Magazine; there you will see:
Find journals, magazines, or newspapers by title or ISSN
Examples: New York Times, Journal of the American Medical Association, or Newsweek
-in the second box, type in the title of a men's magazine (GQ or Esquire) and then click Search
-1 record retrieved for the search: Title begins with "Esquire"
A search for Esquire will yield the following result:
