IMPORTANT: Date sensitive assignments and basic blog maintenance

I just want to remind everyone that since our final drafts of Paper#1 are due tomorrow, Friday Oct. 8, all of the blog posts related to this assignment MUST be completed before tomorrow’s class. There were 4 posts related to this assignment: Blog Post#2(as indicated on syllabus for Friday Sept. 24) was the formal outline for the paper, comments/response to ONE classmate’s outline, Blog Post#3 (as indicated on syllabus for Friday Oct. 1) was the first draft of the paper, and as indicated in the Paper #1 assignment, you were asked to peer review 2 of your classmates’ first draft using ONE of the Peer Review forms which can be found under Assignments. If you have not completed these FOUR blog activities, this will affect you Paper#1 grade and your blog grade.  You cannot make up these assignments at a later date, as peer reviews are necessary for the completion of the assignment.

Overall, everyone is doing an amazing job with the blogs, but I want to remind you, and I cannot stress this enough, that your blog grade, which is worth 40% percent of your grade for the course, is contingent of timely and effective completion of the blog activities. It is your responsibility to complete all required assignments, whether you attend class or not. You must follow the syllabus and the class blog.  See you all tomorrow with hard copies of your final draft of Paper #1 (we will post these on your blogs in class, so please be sure to save your work in Google Doc or on a flashdrive and bring it to class with you.)
