As announced in class, tomorrow is the Final Conference day. While attendance is not mandatory, you are all encouraged to come in, review your final exams and learn what your final course grades are before I enter them into the webgrade system. For those of you who cannot or choose not to attend the Final Conferences, please do not e-mail me, asking what your final exam and/or final course grade is. I'll include the final exam grades into your google docs grade documents tomorrow. But I am not at liberty to communicate final course grades via w-mail. Final grades for the course will be available via webgrade on Thursday, June 16.

Final Exam
English 101.0764 Spring I 2011
Room: C 209
Instructor: M. Bogacka a.k.a. Miss B.
Final, June 10 2011 from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00a.m.
Dear English 101.0764 Students,
Before beginning your midterm exam, a sign-up sheet is being sent around on which, by signing your name in an appropriate spot, you’re indicating whether you’ll be typing or writing your exam by hand. It is important that you sign this sheet as it will indicate how many students took the exam and in which format they’ve completed the exam. Therefore, if you do not sing this sheet, you will be marked absent and your final exam will not count. Please, be advised that once you’ve signed up and indicated that you’ll complete the final exam in a particular medium –either typed or hand written- ONLY an exam in that medium will be accepted from you at the end of the two hours. No exceptions. *Along with your final essay, you MUST turn in the final exam sheet containing the prompts.
After you sign this attendance and exam sheet, you’ll be given the final exam and, if you signed up for a hand written exam, a blue book. Regardless of whether you are typing or hand writing your exam, be sure to include your name, class and section, ENG101.0764, my name-Bogacka- and today’s date on your exam.
If you are hand writing your final exam and use several blue books, all of which, even the scrap ones, must be returned to me at the end of class, please label them 1st book, 2nd book,… or Scrap, Final Draft. You must use a pen to write your final exam and try your best to write legibly. You do not have to skip lines.
If you are typing your exam, be sure to save your work periodically and leave yourself enough time to print the exam. Remember that there is only one printer in the room and all exams must be printed and submitted by 10:00 a.m. You must compose your final esay in Google Docs. [***If the printer is not working, runs out of paper or jams, you are responsible for sharing your final exam with me by clicking on Share, then in Add People box enter my gmail e-mail, magdabog22@gmail.com, check the box Send a copy to myself, and then click Share. This document should appear in your Google Docs as Private to me+ 1more. *If you edit your final after 10:00 a.m.on June 10, you'll receive a grade of F.]
The following materials SHOULD be consulted during the midterm exam:
-the relevant readings, either in print or web format
- The Little Penguin Handbook
- Dictionary, either print or web
[translator-Optional]
The following materials CANNOT be consulted during the midterm exam:
