I feel like people just want every one to know that one gender is better then the other that is why they make a big deal about which group a child belongs to
Even though we live in a world of "equal ooppurtunity" man and woman are not equaled because though it's not blantly out their alot of people stil believe this is a man's world.
I think society segregates men and women because by nature, men and women behave differently. We can't treat men and women the same because men are more physically stronger than women are, women tend to be more cooperative when it comes to behavior etc. We are put into different categories like race, ethnicity, age, sexual orientation, religion because we like to put persons into groups so there will be more order. If everyone were put into one huge group, it would be chaotic...
