Dear English 101.0764 Students,
As I am unable to administer your midterm exam, Professor Matsuuchi, whom you met in the library, has agreed to help me out.
Before beginning your midterm exam, a sign-up sheet is being sent around on which, by signing your name in an appropriate spot, you’re indicating whether you’ll be typing or writing your exam by hand. It is important that you sign this sheet as A.) this is also the attendance sheet for today and B.) this will indicate how many students took the exam and in which format they’ve completed the exam. Therefore, if you do not sing this sheet, you will be marked absent and your midterm exam will not count. Please, be advised that once you’ve signed up and indicated that you’ll complete the midterm exam in a particular medium –either typed or hand written- ONLY an exam in that medium will be accepted from you at the end of the two hours. No exceptions. *Along with your midterm essay, you MUST turn in the midterm exam sheet containing the prompts.
