ANNOUNCING THE LAUNCH OF LAGUARDIA WEB TV.
You are invited to a tour of the studio, live demonstration, information and networking session:
WEDNESDAY, APRIL 27, 4:30-5:30 in the VIDEO STUDIO, M122.
LaGuardia WebTV is seeking proposals for programming. A limited number of slots are available for Spring I and II, with additional slots in Fall I. Please let your students, advisees, or counselees know that they may propose a series of 3 ten-minute shows on a topic or theme of their choice. Students will work in crews of three, including at least one member who has completed the Video Production Workshop or Internet Video course.
Students who have proposals may submit them at the information session, along with the names and contact information for all crew members. Or, students with ideas for shows may come to the session to network with other students in order to form crews and share ideas for creating content.
Media staff and faculty will be on hand to offer suggestions and advice on formats, genres, and technical specifications. Guidelines for creating programs and utilizing the TV studio and equipment will also be available.
