Is the language of examining men and women working relationships detached? Is the responses of the subjects in the "Glass Escalator" pretentious? If so, Why?
I don't think it's pretentious, it's facts. The working relationship between men and women is definitely detached. There are different standards and expectations between men and women. It's segregated, for example, you don't see many male nurses or elementary school teachers. Nor does one see many females in the automotive technician industry.
